I printed the case parts of the mini kit on to glossy photo paper and centre map layer onto matt paper and cut out the partswith a 50 greeting.
I covered a cream tent fold 8in card with a blue bkground from kit cup508681_5 as sky, to make the cases stand out.
I added my base image to this with DST. I layered with 2mm foam. I added the case locks and handle decoupage with foam pads. The N.York sticker and Age greeting medallion were attached with DST.
I used gold metal nail heads to embellish the cases corner protectors and attached a personalised name tag with dk. brown shirring elastic, together with a metal camera charm,to the case handle.
A fab original design, this was requested for a family member for his 50th birthday. It is just perfect for the person in question, but would be lovely for anyone who loves New York and has a special birthday to celebrate!
There are lots of age medallions to chose from!
It is a definite WOW card! Love it!
Printed onto glossy photo paper. Attached base image to 8x8 card stock using ds tape. Built up image with 1mm foam pads.
