I printed the front on 180gm glossy photo paper and cut out the pieces. Using foam tape, the front design was placed on some bright yellow textured paper that been pasted on a pearlised jade card blank.

After adding glitter glue to the decoupage pieces, they were added to the main front using foam dots. A blue bow with a flower gem was added over the owl's bow, and a yellow ribbon bow with a green gem was glued to the gift.

My own birthday greeting was added with foam squares.

Goggle eyes and gems embellished the owl and as it was for a 9 year old's birthday, number 9 stickers were added to the balloons.

I used the number 9 candle from the kit on the envelope to brighten it up as well. This is a bright colorful design that can be as simple or as fancy as you like and ideal for any young person.
