I printed the design onto good quality 200gsm photographic paper and the insert onto 160gsm paper and cut these out.

I cut the insert sheet at the fold line and used this as a template to cut out gold card using pinking shears to give the scalloped edge for the front and the back of the card.

I assembled the decoupage and attached both parts to the gold card using double sided tape. I then took a white card and attached the front of the card to it using double sided tape. I cut around the shape to remove any white card that would be visible.

I then attached the inside of the card on the gold background to the inside of the white card and trimmed to suit.

A beautiful and unusual card when finished.
