I printed off the decoupage sheet and cut out the base image using a paper trimmer and small scissors to cut out the decoupage layers. I affixed the base layer using double sided tape and the decoupage layers using foam squares. To finish off the card I cut out both rectangle greetings, put the blank one on the bottom and then the "Happy Birthday" one on top using foam squares. This really helps to make the greeting stand out.

This card looks great with just the base layer but by spending just a few extra minutes, using the decoupage layers really help to bring the characters to life. It really is a cute design.
