My daughter decorated my grandson's room with a monkey theme so I thought that this would be a perfect 1st birthday card!

I printed the design on matte photo paper before cutting out the elements I wanted.

There are so many options possible - I chose to use the plain text panel on the back of the card and the flowery stopper.

I raised the stopper on foam squares then decorated it with the row of flowers and some individual flowers also on foam squares.

I made the monkey pyramage using foam squares then added it to the card panel.

I chose to only decoupage the flower and leaves on the far left of this panel before flat sticking it to the card base.

A stunning card which is much easier to make than it looks!
