Loved making this card. To create this design I used a 7x7 card base and folded back the front panel on itself to create a 'Z' fold.

On the inside back panel I DST the complete main image with the sentiment granddad raised with foam squares.

The faded insert provided I then used by cutting into two panels and DST to the front and 'Z' fold of the card to create a subtle background.

After printing the decoupage onto 160gsm card I cut this out and layered with foam pads.

To position this part I also backed this onto another layer of card before closing the base card, so I could match the picture of the gorilla to the back panel, making sure that the section overlapping the card was not stuck down.

I double backed the sentiment with a blank oval to give it depth. I enjoyed using the decoupage and insert in a different way to normal. I hope you like it.
