a dogs life

Printed off all elements on photopaper and used dst to attach main image to 7 x 7 Cardstock after cutting out. I could have continued and added the second image and the decoupage using foam pads and it would have come out a lovely card but I decided to 'give it a twist' and I hope I don't get in the dog house for it.

I cut the second image out around the dog kennel just leaving the front of the computer screen attatched (where the keyboard would have been. I also cut out the inside of the dog kennel (the dark area) then I attached this over the top of the main image matching it up (if, like me, your photopaper has a white edge where you have cut away the inside dark area use a black fine liner to go around it). I cut out the decoupage elements then just cut away the little dogs head and embossed it on the back before attaching that to the dog with foam pads. I used just the red flowers and the crocus flowers and embossed these on the back and attached with foam pads. I embossed the back of the big dog and attached that using foam pads. I cut the bird away from the bowl and then cut the front of the bowl away and embossed that and the bird on the back and attached those with foam pads. The butterflies and little bug using foam pads. Added the insert using dst.
