Medium weight chipboard is used in the tutorial to complete the covers and spine for a sturdier book but you can complete the journal without the chipboard if you want.

I printed on to white 250 gsm super smooth card for all elements. As i didn't have any chipboard i used 300 gsm card instead. There is so much in this kit and the end result is beautiful. All ready to fill with photos!
