Golden Christmas Tree Scalloped Trellis/aperture Card Kit
ALTHOUGH THIS CARD HAS BEEN FILED UNDER TRELLIS CARDS IT COULD ALSO BE USED AS AN APERTURE CARD IF YOU DIDN'T WANT TO MAKE A TRELLIS.
A kit with a latticed front (made from strips of card), a decoupaged image and a coloured/patterned inside. In the kit you get the main card, the front of the card, card to make the trellis, decoupage and instructions with photos.
The card has a graduated blue background with a red and gold scalloped top, the scalloped aperture has a gold frame; there is a gold and red Christmas tree to decoupage and through the aperture you can see an enlarged version of the red and gold snowflakes which decorate the top of the card.

I printed this design onto glossy photo paper, then cut out all the elements, used 2mm foam dots to decoupage the tree. I then assembled the lattice work and the rest of the card following the included instructions.
The glossy photo paper accentuates the bright colours and really makes this a stand out card that needs no further embellishment.
Another of designer Sheila Rodgers's lattice cards.
