Flowers & Things Shaped Card Kit - a Cat, Hat & Yellow Roses
These shaped cards are very easy to make but really stand out when assembled.
There are designs for all sorts of occasions including birthday, anniversary, get well, weddings, new baby etc and every kit comes with a selection of greetings as well as a coordinating envelope and easy instructions.
A cheeky marmalade cat has made himself comfortable on the back of this cosy armchair. Let's hope he doesn't jump down onto the gorgeous yellow rose decked hat! There is also a matching vase of golden roses on the nearby sideboard by the cute handbag - looks like the lady of the house is about to go somewhere special!!

I printed the design onto 255gsm photographic paper, the insert onto 160gsm paper and the base card onto 300gsm card and cut these out.
I scored and folded the base card as instructed. I attached the insert to the inside of the base card using double sided tape.
I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape. I attached the decoupage panel to the base card using double sided tape. I added the greeting using thin foam tape. This gorgeous card comes with a matching envelope.
Printed on 200gm matte photo paper. I scored and folded the basic card, which is a simple L-shape and glued in the insert, then attached the main image of the scene to the card with strong dst.
I added the large decoupage pieces with thin foam pads and used silicone gel for the smaller pieces (first shaping the appropriate decoupage pieces to round them a bit).
Finished with a bit of crocheted trim to make a doily under the vase and a few dark blue crystals to repeat the color in the lamp shade.
I have two kitties that look just like this one.
I hope they behave and don't break that priceless Tiffany lampshade! :-) Wonderful design!
