Printed on matte photo paper. I made a card on which to mount the front, back and insert from double-sided cardstock that had a soft blue/green pattern on one side and a cream-colored pattern on the other, then punched the edges with a lace punch.

After that I proceeded to follow the superb tutorial, except that I trimmed around the lace mat of the insert and trimmed the card front and back a bit smaller.

I used a large glue stick throughout when a wet glue was called for, and dst where indicated. The decoupage pieces were attached with thin foam pads or silicone glue.

I added a piece of the narrow ribbon I'd used on the teabag along the spine on the card front and a pearl to the center of the bow.

What a FABULOUS concept and a joy to make. This will definitely be a hand-delivered card because I want to see my recipient's face when they open it :-)
