A New Home 7 Plate Card With EnvelopeCompleted by Shelagh E Osborn Wright
OccasionThe plate front was printed on glossy photo paper, the 2 envelope parts on 160g paper , the plate back and 2 stand front and back on smooth mediumweight card.
I added a quote "home is where the heart is " to the plate back piece prior to printing.
After cutting out all the elements, I made the envelope as explained on the sheet,by glueing the flaps with DST and pressing the other piece down in position.
The two plate parts were aligned and glued together using roller glue and the plate stand front and back were glued together in the same way.I added a Good Luck greeting from the sheet with thin foam, and a white paper flower with a small blue die cut key as a symbol of new doors opening.
Then I scored and folded my stand and displayed my finished plate. This is a stunning plate when complete, very simple and straightforward to make up and is a good size. It makes a lovely gift.
