Forget-me-nots Parasol Pillow CardCompleted by Alyssuzi Creative Cards by Suzi Cooper

Printed box & card sheets onto 220gsm card and parasol & decoupage sheets onto lightweight card. Cut out all pieces. Assembled the box as instructed. Scored and folded the parasol section. Made up deep blue paper bead, then fixed to bamboo skewer with pva glue.

Added parasol and glued in place before leaving to dry. Scored and folded card. Attached acetate to back of aperture. Mounted backing sheet on inside back of card using DST. Added floral decoupage & greeting using 2mm foam pads. Once parasol was dry it was attached to backing sheet with strong DST. Royal blue sation ribbon was tied around handle.

Finally I attached front flap to inside back of card using strong DST and placed in previously completed box. A really beautiful and effective gift card but easy to make.
