Shaped Layered Card - 1929 Evening Ensemble
A shaped layered card is just what it says! The card is shaped and the front of the card is layered. Each layer of decoupage is the easy to cut out shape of the mats. There may be one top layer of individual decoupage on this card. Each kit contains the main card, an insert, two envelope pieces and 4 main layers of decoupage with maybe a smaller decoupage piece to top it. These cards are particularly suitable for people who don't like complicated cutting out as the top layer of decoupage can be omitted if preferred - it is still shown on the layer beneath.
The card measures 5 inches by 5 inches.

I love these vintage cards! I basically cut everything out, glued the envelope together first, then raised the decoupage parts with foam pads on the front of the card.
I also adhered the insert to the inside of the card.
I added a little 'bling' (gem to both sides of the pretty lady) and a 'so called' diamond gem on her necklace.
