Cottage Rose Hanging Birdhouse/treat Box Decoration
This delightful hanging birdhouse is sure to please any recipient. With full colour instructions included to take you step by step. The roof has been designed so you can make it a treat box, instead of a piece of home decor. You don't have to have the bottom dangling decorations. You could also create a card as I have including a backing paper in each kit in this range.
Everything is included all you need is 2 pieces of acetate, ribbon or twine and wet glue. You can add your own embellishments - I added some mini wind chimes. The creativity is up to, I have just provided the elements.

I had fun and really enjoyed making this cute Birdhouse! It has taken a while as there is loads of decoupage, but you can use just what you like. I printed the house parts and birds onto 300gsm smooth card and some of the decoupage onto 200gsm matte photo paper.
I scored and folded where required and just followed the instructions, taking my time, glueing with wet, tacky glue mostly, and carried on when it was dry.
It's all very well explained. I have inked edges with yellow ink. I added brightly coloured feathers to the birds and used glue gel to add the birds' wings, also for the flowers and leaves in the window boxes.
These are so cute!
I added a wide tangerine satin bow to the hanging element under the birdhouse, embellished front and back with layered flowers made from the decoupage.
I used very narrow red and gold ribbon to hang the smaller bird and a couple of tags, and finished with some of my grandchildrens' bright acrylic beads!
This is a lovely colourful design and very eyecatching. A great decoration for Spring and Easter!
The main body of the birdhouse was printed on to 250gsm card and the flower embellishments on to satin photo paper.
The birdhouse was assembled using wet glue. The flower embellishments, leaves and branches were attached to the bird house using glue gel.
The circular embellishments were attached to the ribbons using wet glue. The bird was attached to the perch using wet glue.
