The file was printed on to 200gsm card. The main part and base of the card were supported by a further layer of 200gsm card this gave the required stiffness but did increase the weight of the card considerably.

A name plate created for the recipient was attached to the coal tender of the steam engine. A Happy Birthday sentiment was created and attached to the hot air balloon, both of these extra sentiments were created using Silhouette Studio.

Judicious amounts of glitter were applied to lift the card.

Because of the size of the finished card I had to create an envelope measuring 10" by 10.5". The finished card certainly provided the Wow factor I was looking for.
