Floral Notes Kit with 3D Decoupage
A Beautiful Floral Notes decoupage card kit. A pretty topper design with flowers on an envelope. 6 sheets in the kit. I used 3 pieces of white card 21cm x 21cm square, fold all 3 in half horizontally & vertically then fold each square diagonally from top left to bottom right.
Fold each in on itself to create a 10.5cm square.
Open up all 3 squares & place 2 in front of you with the 2 scored quarters at the top & bottom points facing up.
Place the third square between them with the 2 scored quarters at the top & bottom but with the points facing down.
Attach the 2 centre squares to the outer 2 with double sided tape attaching the 2 squares left & right on top of the 2 squares of the centre sheet. Fold inwards to create a 10.5cm square.
Cut two 12.5cm squares from thick card and attach using double sided tape to the outer squares like backing a book.
Decorate the outer side of these squares with some of the backing papers.
Open out the cocertina card and start embelishing. Cut 6 triangles of silver mirri board and 6 from the different backing papers and add these using double sided tape alternating them.
Cut 4 9.5cm squares from the backing papers and add these to the 4 square panels.
Using all the decoupage ellements of this beautiful kit add them to the 12 triangles and 4 squares.
to make the box using thick card or box board cut 1 piece
19.5cm square for the base the other 19.7cm square for the lid.
Score 3cm in from each edge and cut a diagonal piece out from each corner then fold and stick using pva glue holding together with paperclips while drying.
Decorate the top of the box with 3cm squares of coordinating backing papers gluing each slightly apart and using thick line peel offs to excentuate the squares giving it a patchwork effect. Add a decoupage image on top to finish.
