I printed the design onto good quality photographic paper and cut it out. I used an A4 setting to print the design so I scored and folded a scalloped edged 8x8 card landscape instead of an A4 card which would not have been big enough.

I attached the design to the card using double sided tape. I assembled the pyramid and added the corners using thin foam tape. I added the greeting using thin foam tape. I used 160gsm paper for the card middle and the octagon verse sheet and this worked well and also gave the explosion centre some strength.

I added the octagon pictures to each corner using double sided tape. I attached the card middle and the explosion insert to the inside of the card using double sided tape. A lovely card when finished and it really doesn?t take long to make. The explosion insert is a nice surprise when the card is opened.

This fits nicely into an 8x8 envelope.
