Exploding Verse - Retirement
This card can be used for male or female retirement.
All designs in this series have only straight lines, so it is easy to make a WOW factor card without any fiddly cutting. Full photographic instructions included. The verse pops out to give a nice surprise when opened. Verse reads;- Today's the beginning of the rest of your life. No more mundane and no more strife. You can lay in bed, look at the ceiling and smile to yourself. What a wonderful feeling.

I printed the design onto good quality photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded an A4 card landscape. I attached the design to the card using double sided tape. I assembled the pyramid and added the corners using thin foam tape.
I used 160gsm paper for the card middle and the octagon verse sheet and this worked well and also gave the explosion centre some strength.
I added the octagon pictures to each corner using double sided tape. I attached the card middle and the explosion insert to the inside of the card using double sided tape. A lovely card when finished and it really doesn?t take long to make.
The explosion insert is a nice surprise when the card is opened.
