Cat lover octagonal exploding box card
An octagonal exploding box card in pale blue with darker blue paw prints backing paper on the outside and white with blue paw prints backing paper on the inside.
The middle layer flaps are plain white with a blue border, blue elements and a bow.
The top layer flaps each have a different cat image inside a circular frame and a bow. There are many sentiment tags with this kit. I printed the design onto 240gsm white card and cut it out. Following the instructions included in the kit, I assembled the lid using wet glue.
After assembling the topper for the lid using wet glue I fed this through the slit on the top and adhered it to the inside of the lid using strong double sided tape.
I then added the liner for the inside of the lid using wet glue. I then assembled the layers of the main box using wet glue and assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape.
I attached a greeting to some white spotted ribbon from my craft box and adhered this to the inside of the lid.
I added the greeting to the centre of the main box using thin foam tape. This is a gorgeous box and has the wow factor when opened.
