I have never made an exploding box before - this has made me want to make more!
The design sheets are so well thought out - lots of bits on each sheet so you are not wasting card!
I printed them out, then spend a happy while in front of the tv with my scissors. I thought I would just cut the lines out straight and then use my corner punch to round all the corners - not sure if this was quicker or not!
I also printed the largest layer twice, so that the outside of my box had the same pattern as inside - you will know what I mean when you do it yourself! I just felt it gave it a more "finished" look.
I only used the images from the sheet and didnt embellish it anymore - I feel this gives you an idea of what the box will look like if you choose to not add anything more to it!
I really enjoyed making this one - it took about 30 mins to get it to the stage you see in the photo - I will probably add some personal photos and "journaling" on some of the other "tabs" now.
