Chinese New Year - Year of Snake Birthday Easel CardCompleted by Donna Ritchie

This is a wonderful card with SO many options - both in greetings and in how you build the design. I printed the various card elements on matte photo paper and the 2 parts of the matching envelope on good paper. I decided to leave some of the coins flat but I raised others on 1mm and 2mm foam squares. I also raised the fan, lanterns and snake on different heights. I added some gold edging strips for the lanterns' to hang from. I raised the front edge on various heights of foam for the easel to stop against.

With all the different greetings and options for decoration this is a highly versatile card - not just for Year of the Snake friends.
