Avro Shackleton - 8" x 8" Easel CardCompleted by Katie Silver

I printed the card sheets onto A5 size 250gsm. matte photo paper and cut out the pieces, leaving the border at the top of the folded easel element in place.

I scored and folded this and used DSST to join it to the base, forming an easel without having to add it to a card.

I added the layers to the topper and then fixed it to the easel using DSST. I added a Happy Birthday caption to the base using thick sticky pads so that it would act as a stop, and added the RAF emblem as well.

Made this way the card fits beautifully into a 14.5cm.sq. envelope. Other captions could be Happy Father's Day, To A Wonderful Dad or For Someone Special. Just let me know.
