Twisted Easel Winter Deer Snow Globe

I printed the card pieces on matte photo paper and the envelope and writing panel pieces on plain paper.

I cut out the pieces, including a sentiment and both copies of the border, then scored and folded the main card and glued the striped paper to the easel base with a glue stick.

I used a metallic gold marker to color the cut edges of the card, the border and the snowglobe, then glued in place one copy of the border and the base globe with a glue stick as pictured.

I added some crystal glitter to a few snowy areas in the scene and let it dry before proceeding. I constructed the second layer of the globe to make a shaker card using acetate and silicone gel (the included tutorial is excellent and gives the specifics) and adding crystal bugle beads and microbeads to the inside.

Tip: do this part somewhere where it won't need to be moved until completely dry so the beads don't roll into the wet silicone.

Just for fun, I used Dimensional ModPodge on the outer edge of the snowglobe and added some touches of gold glitter to the base.

The second copy of the border and the sentiment stopper were added with foam pads and I glued the writing panel to the back of the card.
