Vintage Cats & Kittens Book 3D Easel Card KitCompleted by Peggy Stogdill

I reduced the size slightly to fit 8.5 x 11 paper, then printed the card sheets on heavy matte photo paper and the envelope on regular matte photo paper.

After cutting, scoring, folding and creasing the main easel card, I covered the underside of the card base and the exposed part of the easel back with papers from Jean's backing kit, cup480603_1298.

I added the decoupage layers and sentiment stopper with foam pads and silicone, using my nail to distress the edges of the book pages first.

Finished with a tiny bow and some yarn that was supposed to be a bookmark, but the kitties got a hold of it (well, actually, I glued it in place here and there and blamed it on them :-).

The matching envelope is easy to make and allows for the dimension of the card. A wonderful kit!
