I printed the sheets on matte photo paper and used some coordinating card to back the base of the card and the easel section (this is explained in the instructions).

After I constructed the card as instructed, but before adding the decoupage, I did some "antiquing" with walnut distress ink and ink spray.

When it was dry, I added the decoupage with silicone, printing a second copy of the bird and a couple of the flowers so I could layer the bird and have more flowers for the card base.

I cut off the poor birdies feet and tucked him under the sentiment to make it easier :-) I embellished with some pieces of a distressed doily, some "jewels", and two music notes punched from one of the extra sentiment panels.

The included envelope was put together with dst. Sweet!
