I printed the design onto good quality photographic paper and the envelope and backing paper onto 160gsm paper and cut them out.

I scored and folded the card as directed and cut out the white area for the door.

I attached the backing paper to the inside of the card using double sided tape. I assembled the decoupage onto the backing paper using thin foam tape. I added the door to the front of the card using thin foam tape.

I added some silver Lurex thread to the dangler image and placed this behind the frame of the door securing the thread on one of the foam pads allowing the image to dangle as expected.

I assembled the envelope using strong double sided tape. I attached the greeting using thin foam tape to the inside of the card.

I added glitter to the centre of the poinsettias, the flames in the fireplace and to the bells on the front of the card to enhance the lovely design.

A lovely card for Christmas and great fun to make.
