This design is very quick and simple to make with very little fussy cutting - the slowest part was the lace at the front. I printed the design on matte photo paper and cut out my chosen pieces. I chose to use the 'Twitter' topper and layered it, and the rest of the decoupage, using 1mm foam. The instructions for attaching the front band are clear - remember to leave a little more space than the calendar is wide to allow for easy insertion.

I chose to go around the edges of the calendar sheets with a matching ink pad as my cutting did not leave an even line around the edge.

The envelope is quick to make and I love that the birdhouse adds a little bit of fun to the front of it. I know just which neighbours will be receiving this as a gift.
