I printed the box lid, stand and the decoupage onto good quality 255gsm photographic paper and cut these out. I printed the bottom of the box onto white card, fed it back through the printer and printed the backing paper onto the reverse.

I scored and folded the top and bottom of the box. I cut out the aperture on the lid of the box then added acetate behind this aperture using strong double sided tape.

I assembled the top and bottom of the box using strong double sided tape.

I printed the pages of the book onto 160gsm paper and fed each one back through the printer to print the backing papers onto the reverse.

I assembled the book using thin foam tape on the spine only. I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape. I lined the back of the stand with white card to give more support. I added glitter to the gems around the aperture and to the butterflies.

I added a blob of silicone glue under the wings of the butterflies to give more definition. A beautiful card for Mother?s Day.
