Card in a Box - Happy SantaCompleted by Margaret McCartney

I printed the base and top of the box onto white linen card and then fed it back into the printer to print the backing paper onto the reverse side.

This gives a nice finish to the inside of the box.

I cut out the aperture on the lid and added acetate as instructed. I assembled the box using strong double sided tape. I printed the insert sheets onto 160gsm paper. I fed these back into the printer and printed the paler of the two backing papers onto the reverse to give a nice finish to the book pages.

I printed the base of the book onto white linen card and fed it back into the printer to print the darker backing paper onto the reverse to give a nice finish to the outside of the book.

I printed the remaining sheets onto good quality photographic paper and cut these out. I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape. I printed the stand twice and stuck these together using wet glue. This makes the stand a bit sturdier. I then scored and folded the stand as instructed.
