I really did just follow the excellent instructions that were included and it was very easy to make!

I printed at high quality on regular cardstock, backing some pages with the pink background and some with the purple just because I don't know what the young lady's favorite color is.I used scissors (no need for a craft knife,) lots of DST and some pop dots for the embellishments, along with a score board and bone folder (quite a bit of scoring.) The box window is made with a piece of acetate (I had old overhead projector sheets) and for a closure I used velcro-type fastening glued on instead of the suggested magnet.

I was afraid my bow would be too thick but the box closes fine. My little friend is going to love this!
