I cut a piece of black card to fit an 8 x 8 scallop edge card leaving a narrow border.

I then printed Paper 6 and cut two strips. Using Joanna Sheen Clarissa Lace Edger Die I cut two images into the strips of backing paper.

I trimmed them so that one edge was free and placed them onto the black card using d/s tape and wet glue.

I cut a strip of silver mirri card and placed this across the middle. Using Tattered Lace Sentiment Dies, I cut out Happy Birthday in black and placed this onto the silver mirri. I then added a black bow with white spots and some black gems into the four corners.

I attached this topper to the main card using d.s tape. To finish the card I printed Paper 6 again, cut a piece to fit the inside and used a scallop edge die to cut an aperture.

I placed this inside as the insert.

The white from the card that shows through the aperture can be used by my customer to write their own message.
