Sand, Sun & Surf Backing Paper KitCompleted by Gwyneth George

This pack has a lovely assortment of backing papers that can be used in so many ways when cardmaking, or even paper crafting in general.

For this card I chose one of the beach scenes and printed it out twice onto Super Smooth white card. One of the images I matted onto deep blue irridescent card, trimmed to leave a small margine of around 3mm before matting abain onto holographic silver card which I trimmed to around 1cm. I cut out a frame from the second image, to which I stuck a piece of acetate to the back. I placed a long strip of 2mm deep shaker tape around the back of the frame. I stuck the matted and layered base image to the front of an A5, tent fold, blue card made of silkart card. I put a small teaspoon of jade/light blue seed beads on it towards the right hand side before fitting the framed layer over the top to exactly correspond to the image below.

The seed beeds gives a nice sound when shaken.
