Phlox - Set of 12 Backing PapersCompleted by Joan Prince

I cut a piece of lilac card to fit an 8 x 8 scallop edge card leaving a narrow border.

Then using Joanna Sheen Charlotte Lace Edger Die I cut two borders in the lilac card down each side.

I cut a piece of white card to fit in the middle of the die cuts and then using Page 6 of this kit I cut a piece leaving a narrow border to fit the white card.

I then used a punch on all the corners. I matted the floral paper to the white card using d/s tape and attached it to the lilac card using foam pads.

I added lilac gems and white pearls to the corners and matted the topper to the card to finish.

For the insert I used the same floral paper with an aperture cut out and placed this inside the card.

The white of the card shows through the aperture to allow my customer to write their own message. A great kit full of lovely colours.
