Printed out Purple Rose Lace 2 from this lovely kit. Using 250 gsm white card I cut out the base pieces for an exploding box and lid.

I then used the backing paper and some matching purple card and matted and layered each component, some of the layers on both sides so there was no white showing.

Then to finish I added some matching teardrop gems and white pearls. I also placed some of the gems and pearl onto the lid to finish. I then wrapped some matching ribbon around the box and tied a bow at the top to keep it all together.

This is my first attempt at making an exploding box and hope to get better at it with practice.
