I used 2 pieces of A3 blue card and cut the lid and large base layer from one piece and the middle and centre layers from the other piece.

For the lid i cut a piece 17x17cm then i scored 3.7cm in from each edge and cut half of each corner square diagonally to make the tabs to fix the lid together using pva glue.

I cut a piece 27x27cm for the base layer and using a pencil and ruler i measured in 9cm from each edge this divides the card into 9 equal squares.

Cut off the square in each corner leaving a cross shape.

For the middle layer Cut a piece 25x25cm and measure in 8.3cm from each edge and complete as for the base layer.

For the centre layer cut a piece 23x23cm and measure in 7.6cm from each edge again complete as for the other 2 layers.

Decorate both sides of the base layer and decorate as you wish the inner layers and the lid.

Using double sided tape stick the layers together and pop the lid on top for your baby box.
