I used 2 x A3 bright pink card and cut the lid and large base layer out of one piece then the middle and centre layers from the other piece.

For The lid cut a piece of card 17 x 17cm, measure and score 3.7cm in from each edge of the square cut diagonally accross each of the small squares at the corners to make a tap to glue the lid together using PVA glue.

For The large base layer cut a piece of card 27x27cm measure in 9cm from each edge and using a pencil divide your card into nine equal squares then cut off the square in each corner leaving the shape of a cross.

For the middle layer start with a piece of card 25x25cm and measure in 8.3cm from each edge and continue as for the base layer.

For the centre layer you need a piece of card 23x23cm and measure in 7.6cm from each edge and complete as for the other layers.

Decorate the outer and inner side of the base layer then just the inner sides of the middle and centre layers.

When all are decorated layer together with double sided tape and decorate the lid too.
