The Holly & the Ivy when they are both full grown, of all the trees that are in the wood, the Holly bears the crown. Sentiments are as follows: Merry Yule, Bright Blessings and Yuletide Blessings
A lovely wreath made of holly & ivy with words from the first verse of "The Holly and The Ivy" in it's centre.
Perfect for Yule, Winter Solstice and Christmas cards. The design is very versatile and you can choose to use all or just part of the decoupage.

I printed the design onto good quality photographic paper and the insert onto 120gsm paper and cut them out. I scored and folded an 8 x 8 inch card. I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape and silicone glue.
I attached the design to the card using double side tape. I attached the insert to the inside of the card using double sided tape. I added glitter to the holly berries and the ribbon to enhance the lovely design. A lovely card for Christmas.
