Westie in 3D Balloon A5 Card Kit
This card has a 3D sectioned hot air balloon that will fold down for putting in an envelope and the sections can be popped up when it's opened.
I have included a note to print off and put in with the card, so that the recipient knows to unflatten the balloon sections.
I've included two versions of the A5 topper which measures 14x20.5cm (making it slightly smaller than a standard A5 card blank).
One topper has the option of a greeting plaque on the balloon basket and the other has the greeting on a cloud, and I've included a selection of greetings for both these options, including some blank ones for your own personalisation (in both JPEG & PNG formats).
I have also included a choice of two inserts, one the same size as the topper, and the other a full size insert to fold in half.
To make the 3D pop-up balloon simply fold the sections in half lengthways (coloured side inwards) and stick the white backs together, and then stick this onto the balloon on the topper.
I've included photos of the finished card in the kit so that you can see how this works.

I used 170gsm thin white card to print on. It's a good idea to use thin card for the balloon sections to help them fold flat for posting in an envelope without too much bulk.
I used 6 balloon sections but you can use as many as you like.
I cut the little westie in the basket out with a combination of small scissors and a craft knife for the fur detail, and used thin 1mm foam pads to layer these up.
