Miss Poppy Comes to Tea - Large Hexagonal Exploding Box Surprise
A beautiful Exploding Box, which falls apart to reveal a lovely 3d vintage loaded Tea Cup and Saucer. Various embellishments to choose from to load your tea cup as well as to decorate around it. Not all shown in the preview.
There are six tag to write your own sentiments and messages which slot neatly into the pockets. Will make a beautiful heirloom gift and keepsake.

I printed the box sides and the lid onto good quality 300gsm white card. I printed the inside panels onto 200gsm white card and the two scenes I printed onto good quality 280gsm paper and cut these out.
I printed the pockets also onto 200gsm white card and then fed these sheets plus the lid back through the printer to print the backing paper on the reverse.
The other elements I printed onto good quality 280gsm photographic paper and cut these out. I followed the instructions to assemble the box and lid using wet glue. I added the pockets to the inside of each side of the box using wet glue.
I added the outside panels printed onto photographic paper to each side using thin foam tape. I decided to complete each side before attaching them to the base and then adding the inner base to hide the tabs.
I assembled the scene and other elements using wet glue. Gorgeous when completed.
Not difficult to do but it does take some time and patience but well worth it.
