3D Christmas Lantern Decoration A4 Card Kit
This kit is for an A4 card, the main feature of which is the 3D decoration on the front of the card, which can be detached, along with the tag, which then join back to back with hook & loop, and can then be hung on a Christmas tree as a decoration.
The tag contains a lovely little message to the recipient of the card, see below for the exact wording.
The kit contains 7 sheets, and includes two sheets containing the 9 elements that make up the large 3D decoration, a sheet containing the tag pieces, two A4 sheets of co-ordinating backing paper, a sheet of decoupage decorative pieces and paper ribbon, greetings banners, handmade by plate and a little matching label for the back of the card (which explains that the decoration is removable and how to remove it), and an A4 sized co-ordinating insert with a beautiful Christmas verse.
The wonderful thing about this is that the tree decoration will be kept by the recipient, and packed away with all the other decorations when Christmas is over, and brought out again year after year.
What a wonderful way to be remembered each year, and what a lovely gift and keepsake to give to friends and family this Christmas.
There is a pdf tutorial already on the site which explains how to make the 3D embellishments, and check out my Youtube video, where I demonstrate how to make up this kit.
You will need some permanent, self-adhesive hook & loop pads, which can be purchased from all good stationers.

Also look out for my similar kits, an A4 card kit, featuring a detachable gift bag and tag, which is also designed to be hung from the Christmas tree.
You will find these in my designer area too. Have fun with these.

Wow, what a kit! I folded an A3 snow white pearl piece of card in half, added the insert, the sections for the reverse of the card, layered up the front with the backing papers and the paper ribbon, shaping the bow, then edged it with gold border peel offs.
The post and the folded sections of the lamp, the tag and text panel were put through a Xyron.
The text panel was mounted on to gold pearl card and attached using foam pads, the holly sprigs were decoupaged and added using pinflair glue, a sheer ribbon was added to the tag along with the velcro, then the lamp sections were put together, but I left one unfolded to use as a backing to which the velcro was added.
Great card and surprisingly quick to make.
