Printed on matte photo paper.

I printed two copies of the backing paper and used spray adhesive to attach the two main images to them (the other option was to print the backing paper onto the back of the main sheets, but the paper I'd used needed the extra sturdiness of a second sheet).

I cut everything out and assembled according to the tutorial, using thin foam pads for the decoupage layers.

Hint: Use transparent, matte cello tape where tape is called for, as it will show just a bit in a couple of places when the card is completed, or if using glossy paper, glossy tape would probably be best.) I cut out the included instructions for the recipient that show how to open the card, then assembled the envelope with strong DST.

A very impressive card, beautiful colors and such a peaceful image.
