Surprise Card - Princess Fairy
A new concept for me. Surprise cards are small - about 4.25 inches square. they
are gatefold cards with interlocking frames on the front with a central topper
with decoupage. Inside the card the wings of the gatefold are decorated and
there is an insert with a greeting and/or image. The card comes with a matching
envelope.
Inside the kit you will receive:
Preview of a finished card.
Sheet 1 with main card and side inserts.
Sheet 2 with outer frame with the main insert in it's centre - this needs to be
cut out; inner frame, topper mat, topper and decouage.
Sheet 3 - backing design.
Sheet 4 - full sheet of backing paper as an alternative to the backing design.
Sheet 5 - all in one envelope.
Step by step instructions with photos.

I printed the main card base after printing the backing paper on reverse on 280gsm textured card and cut out the parts.
I added the princess inner inserts with DST.I printed the frames and topper on 250gsm glossy photo paper and the decoupage on 160gsm decoupage paper and cut all out.
I followed the clear printed tutorial included with the kit to place and glue the frames, main insert and topper using DST and foam tape.
I added the decoupage with foam pads.
The princess topper was decorated with glossy accents and glamour dust, pink stickles glitter, and tiny pink cristal gems. Yellow and froseted lace stickles was used to highlight the daisies, also on the inner princess image, I added 2 pretty pink glitter mini flowers to the outer frame side to complete the card and a tiny shiny white and lilac butterfly to the written insert(not shown).
This is a lovely eyecatching card for a little girls birthday and so original. Love this design and the colours.
