Cute as a Button Nursery #3 - Exploding Box
Make a beautiful exploding box with a difference, when the lid is lifted two sides fall down and a fabulous nursery room is displayed complete with a cute 3D Crib.
You can also make the box in the traditional way of my other exploding box kits, where all 4 sides fall down and reveal 4 pockets instead of two, as I have also included this within the kit.
So you have a choice of two different styles. With plenty of decoupage elements to make it really dimensional. There are extra tags included in this kit for Gender Reveal the Tags have announcements as a couple and as a single person.
Also ideal for Birth Congratulations.

I printed the box sides and the lid onto good quality 300gsm white card and cut these out. I printed the inside panels onto 210gsm white card and cut these out.
I printed the pockets also onto 210gsm white card and then fed all these sheets back through the printer to print the backing paper on the reverse.
The other elements I printed onto good quality 280gsm photographic paper and cut these out. I followed the instructions to assemble the box and lid using wet glue. I added the pockets to the inside of each side of the box using wet glue.
I added the outside panels printed onto photographic paper to each side using thin foam tape. I decided to complete each side before attaching them to the base and then adding the outer base to hide the tabs.
This box is slightly different from the others I have made as two sides are joined together and the panels resemble the inside of the baby’s room with decoupage to make it more 3D.
I loved making this box as it took me back to my childhood making my own wee scenes. Gorgeous when completed. Not difficult to do but it does take some time and patience but well worth it.

Simple to cut and assemble with clear concise instructions
Print onto matt photographic paper and assembled with clear glue and foam pads
You can use all the elements of which there are loads or you can adapt them to suit
the celebration nothing is left out of these boxes and they make amazing cards or gifts
