White Lilies 3D Luminary Card KitCompleted by Margaret McCartney

I approached this design from a different perspective. I don?t have vellum or a fancy cutting machine so decided to make this card into a book. I printed the design onto good quality photographic paper and cut it out.

I attached a piece of green netting from my craft room to the aperture. I used the vellum sheets as a background to the inside of the card, I scored and folded the card as instructed.

I attached the vellum design sheets to the back of the card using strong double sided tape. I then closed the card.

I added organza ribbon to the back and front of the card using strong double sided tape. I then attached white card to the front and back of the card for extra support. I printed the vellum design sheets again and cut them out. I attached one to the front of the card and one to the back of the card. I assembled the decoupage.

I attached one set of decoupage and a butterfly to the inside of the card. I attached the second set of decoupage and the other butterfly to the front of the card. I attached the greeting to the front of the card. I placed a battery candle inside the card.

The card folds flat for posting and I tied the ribbon into a bow to secure. A gorgeous card when finished.
