I printed the two layers of the base onto 220gsm white card and cut these out. I printed the rest of the design onto good quality 255gsm photographic paper and cut out the various elements.

I made the slit on the smaller base where the easel mechanism will fit through and I attached it to the underside of this smaller base using double sided tape and then attached the base to the larger one using double sided tape.

I assembled the easel topper decoupage using thin foam pads. I added the pocket using a small amount of wet glue on the edges as instructed. When it dried I inserted one of the greetings into the pocket. There are two plus a blank one for your own message.

I then attached the easel topper to the easel using double sided tape. I added the stopper for the easel to the base using double sided tape on the bottom and thin foam tape when it is folded over as this will give some height to the stopper.

I finished off by adding the greeting to the easel topper using thin foam pads.

This is a gorgeous card and it will fold flat for posting in a 7 x 7 envelope.
