I printed the design onto good quality 255gsm photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded the box card as expected.
I attached the tall backing layer plus each of the three outside layers to the card before I attached the tab to the inside of the box using strong double sided tape.
I find it easier to do it this way. I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape on each of the labels for the outside of the box. I then attached them to the relevant front using double sided tape.
I added the two inserts to the inside of the box using strong double sided tape. I added the extra elements to the box using thin foam tape and finished off with one of the labels.
I will leave the age for the moment but I will attach this to a thin strip of acetate and attach it to the back of the front insert when I am ready to use the card.
It will then float between the two inserts inside the box. It will fold flat for posting in an A5 envelope. It also comes with a matching gift card. Gorgeous card when finished.
