3D Japanese Lantern Embellishment and Card Front
This new design features a card front and the elements to make a 3D embellishment. The elements all fold in half and are glued together.
When opened out flat, you have a gorgeous embellishment, (much like the old fashioned Christmas decorations I used to have as a child), to place on your card.
These are really easy to make, but the result is wonderful. If you are making these to send out to friends and family, you will need a concertina type envelope or a box, so as not to flatten your embellishment.
Check out the tutorial to see how they are made.

I printed the sheet onto glossy 200 gram paper and cut out all the elements and stick them together with dst.
I also added some glitterglue.
It's very easy to do and the card looks stunning.
I love this pattern, especially the red and black. I only had a square card in the colour I wanted to use with this topper, so I cut the design down to fit.
I like the change, I think it focuses more on the lantern.
I used some small triangles of origami paper as corner tabs.
