This design would be useful for so many occasions but especially good for Valentine's Day or just for telling someone you love them. I would suggest putting the first 3 pieces of the snail's body in place and then making the shell, before then finishing the body - this makes it easier to keep all the edges clean and crisp.

I was lucky enough to have some velvet finish washi tape which I used for his shell and hat - this gave the card a luxurious feel as well as look. For his body I used some split colour quilling strips. I finished the heart with some gold edging strips and added a small strip to the edge of his hat. Black fineliner gave him his grin.
