I sprayed the front of my card with Dylusions spray 'Squeezed orange'. Once it was dry I cut out the shape and lightly taped my card over the design. This shape is quite easy to cut out even though it still gives the uneven edges of a leaf.
I used quilling strips which had a graduated colour along their length to simulate the uneven colours of an autumn leaf. When finished I used a sepia fineliner to go around the edges to add definition.
A quick and easy card to send to a friend who is entering the 'autumn' of their life (birthday), or change the colours to bright greens and it could be for someone who is starting something new - house, job, school, etc. Different colours make this a very versatile design.
